Ok so my first long tail.. I have no idea what size prop (i believe 7x4, but I can check when I get home).. the plate has a very small sweet spot and if it's not in that spot then it's terrible. I think I need help tuning this to match my boat. It's a 14' with 9hp standard length shaft. The cavitation play is bent down a little from the last guy so I'm wondering what I should do to help run better on my boat. Also when I'm riding it feels like a I have to constantly push down on the handle in order to keep it in that sweet spot.. kinda wears on me after a while! Is that normal? What details do you need to help? |

bend the back of it up little by little with a big crescent wrench until it's right. You should be able to let go of the handle at WOT |

X2^ DD. Actually if you Google godevil owners manual. Down load it, its in there. All the adjustments with pictures. Might help a bit more with diagrams. |
