Went out gator hunting all night. Just pulled the boat out and noticed water pouring out of the belt housing. It appears that a bolt backed out of the bottom and this is where the water was coming from.
1). What size bolt/threads to I need to get the replace it? Should I use loctite?
2). What else needs to be done? Is there likely to be damage? I'm going to bed and don't want to think about it right now but want to address it wen I get up and hopefully be back I. The water again tonight. Thanks

is that at the bottom of the belt housing?

I am not familair with them, but would it just be a drain port or is something bolted to it on the inside

It's a 1/4-20 threaded hole

Should be ok trim the motor down all the way and get all the water out.

If you trim all the way down the drain hole will be elevated from the bottom of the belt housing. He would need to tilt the motor up so the drain will be facing down.

Home Depot of Tractor Supply have o-rings too. Use the shortest bolt possible, maybe 1/2"-3/4".

We stayed out til 5am. Saw plenty of 8-9s but came home empty. Will be at it again tonight and they can't come back down so we'll be leaving with something.

Nothing fell off my Go Devil last night!!!!!
