Post subject:  Broken Belt Again

Out riding Friday afternoon and broke another belt. Just replaced the belt about a month ago. Thursday evening i sealed the belt housing off with silicone because of the water getting in the belt housing. Anybody know why this is happening?

Make sure you have the right belt on the right pulleys. There is several tooth profiles and they are not all interchangeable.
These belts must be aligned and tensioned properly. Make sure something is not moving. If you center distance moves you can break these belts because the tooth climbs out of groove.
