Building generac longtail motor should have somewhere between 35 and 45 hp it's a propane engine converted to gasoline. Gunna sit on a 1448, any idea on a prop size?????

I doubt that is going to run well on that size hull. You need to be at least 16' if not 18' for that size engine.

Iv ran a 35 hp btlt on it already, had no major problems. I have heard all about how no one thinks it will work bla bla bla. Iv done it. I just need some thoughts on a prop size. Not a boat size. Thanks!

I run a 9x3 on my 16hp gdlt and a 9x6 on my 25 gdlt , I'm thinking you could run a 9x7 at the leastwith that many horses. My .02$

Just throwing this out there 38-45 hp on a 1448. How much does that motor weigh. Don't know if you have enough boat.
