 PD reverse ram leaking
Mounted ram last night all was well until this morn, the seal was leaking out the shaft. I read all the posts about it being in a bind. Well I disconnected it and cycled it. Worked great. But it still leaks out the shaft. This bitch ain't a month old. Called peck but they closed at noon. Tried H&H marine, where I bought it, and no answer. Still have receipt. Wonder if there gonna give me some shit. If they do, do they make a seal kit for it?

 Re: PD reverse ram leaking
PD should take care of it. And they do make a seal kit.
Is it just dripping or blowing by. If just dripping just use it this weekend and call Monday.

 Re: PD reverse ram leaking
Did you buy the whole hydro reverse kit from them, or did you fabricate any of it?

 Re: PD reverse ram leaking
Yeah, just dripping. I finally got it all together. I was actually able to run two separate rams with one trim pump using a hydraulic selector valve. I was actually gonna do a review on it today but the ram started leaking. Last night it worked flawless.

H&H also closes at noon on Saturday. Give them a call on Monday morning and ask for mike, he should fix you up.

 Re: PD reverse ram leaking
On the newer models, the engine # is on the starboard side valve cover (on the top side) and the pd # is on the transom mount, also on the starboard side. I know you were trying some things, but I think they will take care I it.

 Re: PD reverse ram leaking
I really think this guy at H&H thinks it was already on the motor. It was an add on so what does it matter what engine block I have. Anyway, I have a call in Peck and waiting on a return.
