I've searched & found the new gearing is 38/48. Old bottom gear was 45 teeth. Question, was the old top gear also 38? |

Old gear is 38/45. That's what I run. Old gears equal more top end. I was told they changed to accommodate the CDI engines. |

^ thanks. Mud buddy comes stock as 38/50 = 1.31 My modded mud buddy (which is 4800rpm motor) is 40/50= 1.25 So the olders gtrs are 38/45= 1.18 I guess this just seemed off. |

So if the top is still 38 and the bottom is 48 then that is 1.263:1 ? |
