 grease in belt housing
Ok guys i have a mb 23 sd. I was checking the belt tension today and it onlhy measured 14 pounds. So i was going to tighten the belt. When i took the cover off i realized there was grease in the bottom. I went ahead and took the outdrive off. I am sure my seal is blown. Where is the best place to get a seal. Should i replace any other parts while i got it torn down. Also i am assuming once you remove set screws from gear i can just use a puller to remove gear. Also is 19 pounds the correct tension.

 Re: grease in belt housing
yes, u can use a puller but after taking both set screws out you need to put 1 in the odd hole and tighten it up....it will pop it part way off, its a taperlock so i was a screwdriver and lightly....lightly is the key so u don't break the lock tap it to open it up just enough to slide it off.
belt tension on a used belt should be 16 to 18 pounds.
Can't help you out on the other seals, sorry i have not had to replace mine.
Over on the BPS site, there is a nice tutorial on this.
