What props worked best for everyone? I'm running a 2011 1851 excel with brand new 35 MB w/single mikuni. Got a 3 year old prop that's never been worked or anything. Prop has approx 150 hrs on it. Got a good bit of vibration. Is it time for a new one? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk |

Take detailed pics and post. Pull a tape measure across for an accurate diameter reading Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Yes it is time for a new prop. I run Hill props i like em. Might want to just get a new stock tiger prop for it. Pics will help but with that many hrs ya have to need a new one. |

Question: what are the numbers on the prop? For example, 12.25x12. Please post those. Also, take some pictures of the prop from the sides and rear and post. What did it measure exactly? Looked like 12" on the nose, but the perspective is skewed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

First number is prop diameter. Second is pitch...which is how far the prop will travel in one revolution. Sent using Morse Code from my not so smart phone. |

Alright. 12.25 means 12 1/4. Last I remember you showed 12", which means you lost 1/8" on each side. If that's true, believe it or not, it makes a huge difference - HUGE. Verify that and get a new prop if so. Keep that as a spare or get it reworked and keep as a spare. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

The size and weight of your rig will also determine how much wheel your rig can turn. Stock prop on my motor is 11X10 but it was never enough. Now that I have fucked it up and wore it down a little it really doesnt do shit to load the egine. I'm stepping up to an 11X12. How can I do this you ask? My boat is very small and very light...... |

I would be willing to bet a new big blade would make al the difference in the world...if u can turn the rims, I would try a hammer...I'm a huge fan of it on the 2 boats I have tried it on....tons of lift from it, you get the lift from the cup on the blades |
