| Post subject: | 25 GTR Prop problem? |
So I received a new prop from Gator-tail this week for my 25, but when I ran it today it seems that any more trim up with RPMs past 3450, I was loosing speed. My normal RPMs are 3700-3800. I also lost 2-3 mph compared even my worn down prop. Any thoughts? |

cause maybe ur worn down prop is just rite and is the new one polished ? |

No its not polished. The first one that come with the boat was polished, with my new original one it would do best @ 3700 rpms |

I find that props run a little better with a few hours on them, but not 2 to 3 mph better. |

Mine seem to have a "Sweet Spot" after a little wear, but it don't last long. |

Cajun you ever get this sorted out? I'm gonna order a new prop in the upcoming weeks. Just curious what was up with your speed loss. Did they send you a 35 by mistake? What was the OD for a new 25 prop? |

sorry haven't been here in a while. I think it just needed a little time on the water. I thought I was loosing speed, compared to my original prop, but I had more weight in the boat. Yesterday I have the boat loaded down with 700- 800lbs and still did 16-17mph. I was satisfied with that. |
