Wondering if anybody knows if the trim switch on my 35 hd sport is a dealer only item or if it could be bought off the shelf at a parts store |

Ok thanks guys feeling like a tard now. I took the football apart to take a pic and checked the connections and had a loose screw. Just was trying to go ahead and locate parts since I'm 10 hours away from home on a hunting trip. Thanks allot but it was a false alarm. |

Just a thought, I ran my trim switch through trim solenoids for my PD36. IMG_2524.JPG I have the old style unit, but many have wired it to a different reversing solenoid for the 2 wire unit. Reason I mention this is because by doing this, you can add any switch you like. The solenoids or relays will take the current / amp load to keep from frying the switch. So now, if your in a bind, instead of getting a $30-$40 high amp draw winch switch or trim switch to operate it, I can use any waterproof ip66 - ip68 switch for about $8. $8 trim switch on left, reverse switch on right. IMG_2526.JPG Also the trim will operate a hell of alot smoother due to trim pump getting full amps from battery, and not through switch. Again, not sure how mudbuddy's is set up, but no matter how it is, use the relays or solenoids to handle the load. |
