Is that piece spun welded on or is it a shaft that is cut down?

Talked to a outboard guy about this on e and he said some of the outboard shafts are spun welded and break there.

say what you want I will never buy any thing else other then gator tail just because the customer service they gave me they fix while I waited and tuned carb and got me a few new springs new prop new shaft seals and bearings I could not ask for any thing better highly impressed!!!!! I have owned them all mud buddy (broke all the time) prodrive (got stuck a few times nothing other then that) Dixon (trash) go devil(work the shit out of you) this is the first problem I had with gator tail and they hooked me up and had me heading down the road in about an hour and a half say what u want that was the shit !!!!!
