I don't understand exactly what you want to do with it......... put it on a surface drive? |

why? if you need a mud motor, just go all the way and get rid of the outboard. what are you trying to do that hasnt been doable with a "troller..kicker..fan ..16×8 diamondback airboat"? Using a surface drive for a kicker sounds like a big pain in the ass. Any pics of the boat/setup you want to use it on? (I'm not being a dick here.... just trying to figure out what your needs are) |

Why a big outboard and a little? My uncle had a kicker motor on his offshore boat..... He said it was incase the big motors don't fire up we can still limp home. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk |

People use them to troll. It's a lot more fuel efficient and saves a ton of wear and tear on the big motor. |

Im gona use a 23 hp surface drive insted of the small outboard ...but im gona have to shorten the shaft so I can turn it dead 90°both ways ...but I was wondering about if a two stroke would be better ...I don't know what the rpm range is on a 4 stroke .....does anyone |
