So I have 6 hours on my stock copperhead prop and every bit of the cup has been eaten slap off the damn thing. (Strangely it has lost none of it's diameter ![]() Is there anybody out there using an alloy that yields better abrasion resistance? Or maybe a solid tungsten or depleted fucking uranium prop?? ![]() I'm open to suggestions on where to find an 11X10 or 11X11 prop that wont wear out so fast..... |

Sounds like you've got a perfect reason to finish it off at the mudrun. |

Anybody ran a Hill Marine prop on a small SD? I think Copperhead used to use them back in the day? It doesn't look like it has much cup in the pictures..... |

We ran a 12" hill today in some nasty shit and they dont do well out of the box need a little tweaking to make em grab better in no water but it runs good in deep water. |

I've gone though 3 hill 11x10 on a 23hp they do seem to wear a bit fast. All we have is hard bottom really no mud. Don't think theres any thing that can hold up on hard bottom. |

Same here...... nothing but hard bottom. It isnt the hard stuff thats giving it trouble though. I havent lost any diameter. I guess its all the grit when i do finally find something it can chew. Sent from my V971s Core4 using Tapatalk |
