I have a 2007 mud buddy 35 and after fishing today I found this mid way up my lower unit. Is this normal? Have I blown a seal? Thanks! |

Not normal, could be the seal behind your lower gear, pop the clutch cover off and see what ya got going on in their. Easy to replace if its a seal..could also open the plug on the bottom of your belt housing and see what comes out |

I opened the plug at the bottom of my belt housing and a little bit of water came out. Not a ton but enough to make a small puddle. I have to take some family out tomorrow, would it be ok to run it once more before bringing it into the shop? |

Hard to say without knowing where the water came from. |

Should I tighten all of my boats down on the lower unit? I'm bringing it to gator trax this week |

If it's leaking through the prop seal it won't help. Just make sure they are all snug. You probably need all new seals an bearings in the lower anyway, so 1 more day shouldn't make much difference......unless it were to lock up on the water. |

Alright, I'm sure ill be fine. Hopefully my trip to gator trax won't cost me an arm and a leg. Thanks |

I would fill it with new grease just to be on the safe side |
