I would say that drive needs a lot more than grease if it's 6 yr's old and never been grease. ![]() ![]() |

Well the drive is good for 50 hrs before it needs to be grease . So every thing should be good how did it look in the bottom of the belt cover? I would say your only choice is to put a zerk fitting in your self. I'am not shure if you can do it with out taking every thing out of the drive tube? Did you take the screw out to see if they put any grease in there? If there is how did they do it?? Also on mine there are some other zerk fittings on the motor where it mounts on the boat are these there? |

Fork that^^^^I would make MB cover all under warranty!!! I would not be doing that. they should send you a whole new shaft and outdrive. |

Mine is just like that. Take the prop off and the bearing seal at the prop end. Take that little bolt out and replace with zerk... if u just pump with grease it will blow a seal out. Don't ask me how I know. |

Buzz does it have zerk fittings on the motor mounts ? Mine has two up there that need grese also one other thing I have done to it is open up the football and put die electric grese on the wire connections on the switch contacts. Water gets in there and freezes. It's prone to corroding inside of there. I also think the salt on the roads helps a lot? |
