 FPR not ratcheting ???
This is probably a dumb question, but here goes. When I pull the pin to ratchet my foot around for fprThe foot will sometimes not remain still, it moves with the upper part of the motor. I think the handle on the side is to tighten in and hold the foot, mine is tight I don't want to break it. Can someone explain how this works.
Thanks Ben

Hold on!!!!!! Crews will be with you in just a few minutes to help with your problem...My guess is he will tell you to tear your entire engine apart and send it to Pro-Drive...When all you have to do is tighten the knob tighter.

Also, put some more grease in zerk. Don't know why that helps but it do!

 Re: FPR not ratcheting ???
You need to grease your zerk fitting like stated above you have 4 or 5 to grease depending on if its a short or tall transom. You'll have 2 or 3 on the mid section and 2 for the reverse plate. ( 1 will be on the bottom of the reverse ring to the left of the pull pin if your facing the bow and the other will be straight above it behind the black clutch cover). I shoot a pump or 2 in each at every click while ratching it around. I then hold down the pull pin and make 4 to 5 more spins / rounds by hand to distribute the grease evenly. This should fix you up. I don't even use the tention knob except for trailering. keep it loose while steering or it will wear out the teflon seal prematurely.

 Re: FPR not ratcheting ???
I would absolutly love to, but I'm a RN and work Sat, Sun, and Mon. If any rides are during the week I'm in. I try to save my little bit of time off for duck season and Ar. trips. I'd be down for a La trip to mud ride and duck hunt.
