Got a slight knocking sound along with a roar coming from my l/u on my PD while in the yard, also has some vibration! |

They're going to make some rattling sounds similar to a bush hog out of the water. Did you check the gear oil? |

Drained the oil, was clear, reserviced it, it was doing it on the water as well! Can turn prop by hand but don't feel any binding or rough spots! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They make so many different sounds it's hard to tell you. The vibration is more than likely from the prop being out of balance. The sounds could be coming from the clutch also. What year is it? They'll make a ratratratar sound on the water too on step and especially on a slight turn but its normal.. |

x2 on the clutch. It is amazing how sound resonates thru the drive. I'd check and/or remove the clutch considering that you dont have any metal in your gear oil. |
