Post PD lower unit toast?
Thought I blew my clutch right end of the season on my last hunt this year because motor was free spinning and wouldn't go into gear. Went to replace the clutch today and the spline shaft came up with the motor. Anyone see this happen before? Can this be fixed or do I need the whole lower unit replaced? This shit always happens to me and this is a kick in the balls. Don't know what a new lower unit cost too. Was trying to fix the boat to sell it but now that's not going to happen. Any help would be appreciated.

Wrung the shaft off. From the looks of the top bearing, it has been quite a while since u checked the LU for oil. Everything inside is likely toast. A brand new LU would b the way to go.

If you need a new spline adapter (part that's on the clutch) I have one that's been sitting in back for awhile that's only has like 75 hours on it. They are expensive new from PD.
I will let it go fairly cheap
