36 Gen 2 pd, Jamie b stg 2 Considering running a 27 3 blade and pitching up if need b to lower rpms. I'm guessing it will jump out the hole, might pick up a mph and prolly carry a load better. Thoughts/opinions? |

Talked with Paul at Phowlers demo day about adding efi and heads to mine, and he said they've been doing it with a few motors and that they're picking up a little speed on the top end. Maybe he'll chime in with actual numbers |

If you want phowler to do your heads n EFI youll pay 1000 bucks more than Pro Drive charges. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk |

Paul gave me a price on what I'm looking to have done and it certainly wasn't 1k more, was right in line with the list price pro-drive has on their website for the e2 kit... |

I'm gonna try it, just hate to buy a new one and keep paying to get it worked. Prop game sucks. I really wish I could just find a stumpgrinder prop |

Kinda hard to ask for more than that on a 1854 w/ 3/16th bottom and full welded floor. Are you turning 4700 rpm, and do you feel like you have much throttle left if you are on the rev limiter? |

I have a 18x54 with center console and a 36 hp with the 3 blade it ran 26 mph at 4400 rpm To the carb off and had pro-drive install the fuel injection now it runs 28 mph at 4500 to 4600 Installed the marshmellow muffler and did not notice any real noticeable gains but exhaust is helpfull but not enough to really make a noticeable difference unless it's tested on a dyno to actually see the gains |

One of the rivers I been spending a lot of time on is nothing but shallow clean water with the occasional log. That splined shaft is the bomb for swapping props. I would love to get a prop that is good for nothing but speed. |

Get a cheap old Evinrude prop and try it. Like a 3 blade 13.5" x 15p |

I'd have to try a regular outboard prop just to see, bet you can find one laying around a marine shop for little to nothing. Wouldn't matter if it's SS or aluminum just to try it for open water. |
