 Loose GTR Prop Nut
I've noticed that my prop nut has been loose after the last couple of times I have taken my boat out. Can i use locitite or something similar to fix this? I don't want to lose a prop during a duck hunt. Better yet, what could be causing this?

 Re: Loose GTR Prop Nut
Get a new nut. The Teflon is wearing out.
If you hit a lot of stumps it happens too.

Is there anything special about the nut or will one from the hardware store be fine?

 Re: Loose GTR Prop Nut
Nothing special about it . Just a standard lock nut. I think there is a coarse and fine . Gtr had switched to on or the other at some point in time.
