Post GTR transmission swap out
I have to change out the transmission on my 2015 GTR due to a leak. Was wondering if there is diagram somewhere that I could use for reference to be sure that I do everything right. Really do not want to do it by trial and error but will if I have to. thanks in advance for any help

It is under warranty and GT sent me the part but I do not have a dealer close at hand. It does not appear too difficult but would feel more comfortable with a little direction.

i dont believe its much to it just take the bolt off and use a puller to pull it off think you suppose to drain the fluid out first before removal

Drain fluids from planetary, remove caliper. One bolt removed from planetary. remove outer planetary pull buy hand can rotate to help, 5 Allen heads takes off second side of planetary. That's it red loctite on reinstall! !!!

That will help! Thanks. I hope I don't run into as many issues as he did, lol. That is exactly what I am trying to avoid. I am definitely not a mechanic

Post Re: GTR transmission swap out
Thanks to Dmax I was able to get everything apart until it came time to remove the outer geared shaft. I understand it has a keyway or spline and should pull off but I used some force and it refused to budge. Dmax has never done this specific one so I need to know if there is a trick to removing it? Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks again to Dmax for taking several phone calls from a perfect stranger on a Sunday afternoon. I appreciate it!
