 bigger prop of re gear? ok i got all my heads worked mikuni carb and exhaust i test drove it today at wot i am hitting the rev limiter trimmed down still turning 4,650 my question is should i buy the bigger prop or re gear it?

Re: bigger prop of re gear? MB 35? I'd try the Hammer first, it's nice if you have the rpm's to spin it. Borrow one and try it.

Re: bigger prop of re gear? yes sorry its was a stock mb 35 cdi motor with the 4,700 coil. i don't know any one that has one wish i did i know i am in need of a new prop soon any ways thats what i was trying to figure out if i should stick with the big blade and regear or buy the hammer

Re: bigger prop of re gear? A bb is faster hammer will take off 150 rpm. you'll be all over limiter with that worn prop

Re: bigger prop of re gear? i just had the mods done last week i couldnt spin over 4400 with my normal load now im bouncing the rev limiter same prop it has 96 hours on it

Re: bigger prop of re gear? Measure the prop. I have a hammer and it brings mine down to the 4500 range. I had a bb reworked and it stays in the 4400 range but gets on step like no other
