 GD LT GX690 Prop?
Looking into replacing my prop after duck season. Has anyone experimented with sizes other than the gd 9x6? Wondering if the Honda can spin a 9X7 since its a 28 gross HP motor. Prop measures 8 5/8 from tip to tip and "cup" is not existent. Turning 3800-3900 Rpm in the water on a 16x44 gd running 17-18 mph with me (170lb) buddy (220lb) 12 gal of gas and gear.

 Re: GD LT GX690 Prop?
I had a 9x5 on my 20hp Honda. I re-pitched it down to a 9x4 and had it balanced and recupped and it was much improved in every aspect. I picked up speed loaded and unloaded. I'm in the 4100RPM range solo at 19ish mph, 38-3900 with 2 guys and gear, 16-17mph.. I had mine done at a prop shop local to me. Worked out great.
