It means that there's a different company building a prop that isn't related to this one at all. |

I just saw on facebook that people are getting their props in the mail from PD. Waiting for a review, especially on top end speed, when someone gets to run one... |

I believe they still have some fine tuning to work on the top end. I should have mine any day now. I'll post a before and after. |

Modding your motor is the only way you gona gain speeds with this lower unit |

I thought about calling of and getting them to send me some gears from a Gen 2. Idk if that would even work or what kind of gains you would see but I know they changed the ratio from Gen 2 to the Gen 3 |

It's the 2:1 reduction the prop is spinning slower that's why they're to get the prop situation fixed to make up the speed loss. Nothing to do with the clutch. |

You can't swap the gears. The LU knuckle is different. It's internally larger for the bigger ring gear. |

Post subject: | Re: ProDrive 2-Blade Gen 3 Prop |
I didn't know of that was possible either I just knew there was a different reduction and it would make since to me to possibly be in the gears just a thought I had. But ya anyone got the scope on the knew prop yet. Thinking bout getting one but don't wanna waste the money if there art any gains |

I get 24. With 6 gallons of gas and 2 Ppl at 220 a piece would love to see about 27 or 28. I don't care to fly but would like to keep up. Alot of the Ppl I ride with have gen 2s |

I'm still trying to figure out whey they changed the lower units from the Gen 2, I haven't really heard negative things about this Gen 3's but I feel like more people would rather the Gen 3 over the Gen 3. I wish yhey would leave the Gen 2 option out there if you wanted to special order one. Bc when I eventually have to get another I would want another Gen 2 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk |
