Anyone ever had a 3 blade on a 37gtr that pulls bad to the right hand side of the boat. (Driver side) motor is centered up everything seems right but the damn tiller torque is terrible. Can trim tabs cause this to ?

You'll likely have to move your motor a bit off center. Those new style lowers aren't adjustable like the old ones. Not real sure why they did that without concern for tiller torque, but whatever. Just shift your motor on the transom an inch or so in the direction the boat wants to turn. May take more than an inch, maybe less. You'll have to do a little experimenting, but it'll solve it. How much you have it trimmed will affect that as well, so try messing with that first.

So you dont think it could just be the 3 blade ? Heard they have harder torque. Hoping a 2 blade will be better. I really dont want 2 open holes in my transom where the old motor placement was

Maybe jbweld some aluminum wedges on the keel of the motor then. Also send the prop off to have it polished, balanced, and 3 blades pitch the same. After I had my prop worked I have zero Tiller torque.

2 more holes in your transom that you could easily seal up, or tiller torque. Spend money to solve it by getting another prop, then when you still have tiller torque, try moving your motor over and see if that helps.

Was told to move the motor over to port an inch. Gonna try that out.

So, the boat is trying to turn right right and you were told to move your motor to the left? I got a feeling that's gonna make it worse.

No. I drive with my left hand. Tiller handle is pushing at me. So front of boat would turn left if I let go of handle. Looking at it from back of boat

Then yes, move it to port. My bad for misunderstanding which direction it was torquing.

I had the same problem with my 3 blade on my 37 GTR. No matter what I did, it was pulling bad to the right and I also have trim tabs. I went to a mud buddy 2 blade big blade 12.25x10. Solved the tiller torque and gained 5 mph.

Yeah, not a 25.25. Try 12.25 instead.

I moved mine 1 inch to the left and swapped to a big blade and there is still a little tiller torque but is not bad at all. Easy to handle.
