I’ve got a GTR 37 XD that I may have sent a little too hard in shallow water. Used to run my boat 28-30 at about 4400-4500 rpms and sling a good rooster tail. Now it wants to run 4650-4800 and won’t go but about 25 or so even though it still takes me where i wanna go. But I’ve been thinking of buying a new prop and can’t decide which way to go. Usually won’t have too heavy of a load during the summer but looking for a good speed too. I’ve got an original GTR 3 blade right now. |

I measured the diameter last night and it was only 9” and that seemed a little small to me. The numbers i could see on the prop are CA55-11 but i couldn’t find anything only about those numbers. |

Yeah I would say that is worn down a bit. Most new props are 12 + inch diameter(For 35 or 37). IMO get your 3 blade reworked but also buy another new one. (Hill Marine 12x10 $209.00-cheap spare) or better yet get a big blade or a hammer. But a lost of speed and increased rpms would make me think a different prop would be the first thing to try! |

what's the deal with those RonHill Props? His name rarely comes up. Only really hear BPS props and worked by baggy and courville... |

I don't know I run one, 12x12, does good. I haven't run it in mud much but in the veggies and stumps it does the job, run 28-30 mph with 2 and hunt load. |

I agree with cypresscritter. Get you a hammer. The GTR 2 blade does very well too according to baggy in Houma. |
