Ok the ? is ... when I put my motor in gear on the trailer I can hear a noise coming from the foot by the gears. and i noticed when i trim it to high out of the water while running it in the water will make the same noise. Motor has 51hrs on it and I dont hit to much sh-t. called kp and he said it is there is no backlash on the wheel so thats why its making the noise he said some motors do it more than others. This is my frist pd so just wondering if any of you hear the same thing. Thanx

I got a new lower unit at about 100 or so hours. The new one was louder than the first and was pretty obvious. Had Peck look at it. He told me the same thing, some are louder than others. Bout to roll over 400 hours on that second LU and going strong. Hit another 50 stumps and logs today. :lol:

I thought mine was making a rattling noise...Come to find out my skeg is rattling at the last 2 bolts that hold it on.
