Post What is this noise?
I have a Mudbuddy 35 hyper sport and am getting a loud squealing noise somewhere out of my lower unit when I am accelerating to get on plane. It does not effect power. Belt tension is good and drive shaft is properly greased. It doesnt slip out of gear or anything like that so i dont think it is the clutch but im not sure. Any ideas? or any way to narrow down the problem?

If your seal was bad and let water into the bearings at some point they probably rusted. You need some work on the bearings or seals or both. That noise is not good.

Best help would be on the MB forum for that.
