on GT, there is a relay to the trim. could i also use that relay to add an extra trim to a grab bar? i know drake1 has an extra trim switch on his motor. it should work off the same principle, correct? |

Just run your wires straight to the original trim toggle switch. |

i thought about that. but then i would have to run at least #8.. it would look alot cleaner runnin #14 to a relay tho? |

I just used the wires that come with the switch. Ran it from my handle to the original trim toggle and just spliced it there. |

what size wire is run to your original trim? if im not mistaken on the GT there is a relay betwen the battery and trim.. thus allowing the smaller wire to the back of the original trim. there is no relay on the PD, it looks like #8 from the battery to the original trim switch. |
