on GT, there is a relay to the trim. could i also use that relay to add an extra trim to a grab bar?

i know drake1 has an extra trim switch on his motor. it should work off the same principle, correct?

Just run your wires straight to the original trim toggle switch.

i thought about that. but then i would have to run at least #8.. it would look alot cleaner runnin #14 to a relay tho?

I just used the wires that come with the switch. Ran it from my handle to the original trim toggle and just spliced it there.

what size wire is run to your original trim? if im not mistaken on the GT there is a relay betwen the battery and trim.. thus allowing the smaller wire to the back of the original trim. there is no relay on the PD, it looks like #8 from the battery to the original trim switch.
