 3/22/2012 I-10 exit 121 @ Butte Larose at 1:00 pm Meet Kyle from Texas and me there for impromptu ride in Indian Bayou WMA and Henderson Lake.

Other than that, wish I could make the ride if it weren't for the fact that I work every day

Re: 3/22/2012 I-10 exit 121 @ Butte Larose at 1:00 pm Well, Kyle (centxhunter) and I did a little exploring yesterday in Indian Bayou WMA. It was a beautiful day.!! Kyle is a great guy. He really appreciated the beauty of the great Atchafalaya Basin. We went into some pretty tight spots but his Mudbuddy reveres was malfunctioning so we had to stick to the main channels. Wish some of you could have been there, too.

Re: 3/22/2012 I-10 exit 121 @ Butte Larose at 1:00 pm That is one awesome place. Thanks to Dean for the tour. I almost don't want to tell anyone about that place, too nice to mess up! I have been driving across the A-basin for 40 years and always wanted to check to out.
As for mid week? Dat iz de way to go, no crowds!! I will post a pic up when I get back to a computer.
Oh yeah, Dean's badd azz little cypress skiff can carve a turn through the super tight cypress like a bike. The Gator Trax does great in the mud and veggies, but I spent a lot of time banging in to trees and running in to bushes and shit. I have about 10 lbs of sticks, trash and spiders in my boat..
