Well, the first annual Henderson Mud Run is over. If one measures success of a mud run by whether anyone got hurt and how much fun was had then I think this was a great success. Everyone was very courteous and respectful of the rules, except for that one time when the tour boat got mooned. There were a couple of close calls with stumps and my dog but he's fine. Counts varied from 18 to 20 boats at any given time. Any more boats and I would have needed more help . Thanks to my padnas bubba777 (Ryan), Derrick, jimmy, Jeremy and my son Dean Jr for helping. Thanks to the young man who let my son ride with him. I cant remember his name. Sorry if we didn't look too spry Sat morning. It was because the boys from Alabama forced me to drink.

There should be some great vid of the run, including the ski jump.

I had a blast yall can thank me later for digging that ditch lol. We need to go out to my camp and play in mud one day . Sorry we didnt go to supper BUT man that sun whipped my fat ass . Looking forward to CJB pics and videos bc DAT DUDE IS A BEAST LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks dfou, likewise. That might have been the best leg of the ride. Glad I was finally able to put the brushguard to the test in that patch of trees. I may have been slow, but I do think I won the stereo competition, so thank you.

A buddy sent me one of me lumbering over that levee yesterday. The video was great with the volume down, but when I turned it up, I could hear all you assholes saying, "Those Bama boys ain't gonna make it in that Slow-Devil!"

That was my padna, not me... Although I MIGHT have encouraged it just a little! I think deep down, they all realized it was a good joke though. What was even worse was that Robe had to pass them a couple minutes later going slower than we were.

haha i would of loved to of heard a comment about slo devils early on in the morning. the "slo devil" ran 3/4 throttle most of the day bc everytime i opened it up i was eating the rooster tail from the person in front of me.
I felt like i was playing nascar in the open canals leaving the back of the pack headin to the front while singin runin with the devil, van halen

also dguidry my gf named your boat the Honda Civic of the fleet bc it makes a shit ton of noise but isnt going anywhere anytime fast just like all the Civics on the road haha

coot - head work carb and exhaust. also u need to quit letting them give you shit about being slow bc if it wasnt for the 500lbs of radio equipment to DJ the event and that mean ass 300 lb tree buster on the front of your rig you would been right up there with us hahaha
