I don't know any of the areas but I'm visiting a girl in BR this weekend so I'm gonna drag the boat along and take her riding with me. Any suggestions, warnings, others that wanna go??? I'll attach a picture of the girl so you know I'm not bringing a fat chick. (She's the older one.)

DDB she's from BR went to St. Joseph's but we have mutual friends from Port Allen. The fact you don't have your boat presents a problem though. If her daughter comes with us, then we don't have room. On the other hand, if her daughter doesn't come, well then we damn sure ain't got room. You understand. Where's your rig? Come show a foreigner around for a day.

St joe hoe!!!lol My boat is a hour away. My sister is getting married tomorrow so that's why I am up here. I would look into jack millers landing. It's one of my favorite places to ride round here. It is towards plaquemine about 40 minutes from sigen lane to the landing. Depending on what time Saturday you wanna ride i might be able to swing it. I can borrow a buddies boat also. Only problem is that it might rain. Marepaus is another choice. Also stephensville/belle river is a good ride if you want to bar hop. The tickfaw is also good bar hop but I would go single if you wanna go down there.

If you would have posted this thread about 30 mins earlier I would have brought my boat.

I can bring your boat to Gramercy exit tommorrow on may way home if you want. I'll be passing through there around 5, if that helps.

Problem solved. I doubt I'll be too early. I was thinking between 10 and lunch time then the rest of the day. Later if necessary, I'm always up for "sleeping in" when I stay with her. My buddy, Rooster, from Port Allen talked about bar hopping on my boat. Is that as legit as cruising swamp that I've never been in or is that what I've gotta be by myself for?

Sooooo my boat was actually unlocked. I don't think I would have made it anyways. I don't remember much between 11 am Friday and 1 pm on Saturday. I think I was legally dead at one point

Well we managed to have a good time anyway. We spent the day riding around on Saturday, got off the water, went and ate crawfish and drank a buncha RBV's (Red Bull & Vodka) at Sammy's, then got a wild hair and decided to put the boat back in the water and do some night riding. Ended up pitching a tent on the front deck (literally and the slang term version) and camped out on Choctaw Bayou. Pretty solid little outing with the added bonus of finally "christening" the mud boat!
