Lots of good places there. There are a few folks on this site that plan a ride around that area every year. I've run around on the river there quite a bit, just put in on north lake and head out! |

There is a WMA close to Treasure Island. Look up WMA's in Goodhue County |

If you decide to trailer and head over to river let me know. I'm always up for spending a weekend running the backwaters, and am pretty familiar with pools 4-8. |

We will be out on pools 4 and 5 as soon as this damn ice is gone. There are plenty of areas to test out your capabilities. Perch always says he will show up.... but never does! |

Will do. Just went out for the first ride of the season, yesterday afternoon on the flooded cannon river between Northfield and Faribault. The ground under the water is still very frozen. Found some great timber to run through though. |

Any of you guys getting together to ride this weekend?? Even though the river is so damn high the weather is gonna be a nice change.. I'd pry come up to pool 4/5 if others wanna get together still. |
