Alright been getting asked about doing another ride down Montegut this year, so it'll happen on Saturday, February 22.

Basically we will do the same thing as last year, plan to launch by 9:00 am and head out shortly after. Same launch as well at the Montegut Marina..

Boat Launch ($7.00 Launch Fee):
Montegut Marina
2120 Louisiana HWY 55
Montegut, LA 70377
(29.39519,-90.587409)

If anyone would rather meet somewhere in Houma, just let me know and we'll make arrangements. For everyone else familiar with the area, feel free to launch at the end of Pointe Barre road...just make sure you DO NOT drive off the gravel road because you will sink in the marsh. Also the parking is very, very limited.

Last year everyone was safe and respectable, and there wasn't any trash left out that I know of. Lets please keep it that way and leave the area just as it was found. This will make it much easier to keep these rides going.

Looking forward to another good time out on the water and meeting new folks!
