Old/lost will have more places to ride JS. Trinity was already pretty low this morning and if it keeps flowing the way it was today there will be some good mud tomarrow. Planing on runnin up again in the morning and see if i can find some of it..

I can lead the ride up there thru Miller, Charlotte, Sulfur cut, Sand Bar etc. if someone wants to cook. I just don't have the room in my boat for the pot, propane tank, water, shrimp and all. We could launch under I 10 or below the locks if y'all don't feel its safe under the bridge. Makes no difference to me, I use both ramps. I can make it on the 30th. |

Im gonna post August 30th as the finalized date. (can a mod put this date in the title?) If we end up going the river route I know that area well. Im game for either. Ya'll just let me know which side. If at all else I am familar with the poker run route. I just wanna get together with some like minded people and drink and have a good time in my boat. Im leaning River, What say you? |

I'm partial to the river, scenery is better and a good place to cook, and we can make the run upriver to that sand bar if we feel like it...But i really dont care either way. All we ever do on these things is ride for 30 mintues, post up and drink for an hour, then ten minute ride and so on. I might be in to cook something, but i'm not volunteering until it gets closer. |

Went up the river this morning and its low. They been leting water out the locks for awhile now. Lake pass was pretty good all the way up to miller but from there to charloate its full of logs and a pretty tough ride. Not much lillys anywhere, river flooded again last week and flushed it all out..again. |
