For any of y'all not on Facebook, we are meeting up the 21st of February for a little post duck season ride. We are planning on meeting around 1 that afternoon and doing a little cruising until low tide. Low tide is at 4:26 with a reading of -1.3 so it should get pretty dry on yellow house flat. We did a ride two years ago about the same time and you couldn't have asked for better weather, so hopefully we will experience the same. Looking forward to seeing old friends and new faces. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away. |

Just regular rope works fine but in case we have to snatch, I've got a 10k strap in my boat. |

It'll be a blast man. Always a good time when the tides are that low. Bring her along and then you can carry her to eat at the Mexican Restaurant in Moncks Corner. We usually grab supper there after a ride. |

6 gallons tank is usually plenty but you'll definitely be fine with just the spare 2 gallon jug. |

Might come down from NC and join you. Have a couple of questions. Where is a decent, safe place to stay overnight? Looking at Google Earth it looks as if you can launch on both sides of the road but I assume you are launching on the East side. Is this correct? |

East landing is correct. I always stay in Moncks Corner. Only about 15 minutes to landing. |

Basically a week to go. Weather is looking nice so hoping it stays the same. Also expecting 25-30 boats as of today. Should be a really good ride. |
