Hull recommendations for a 27 pd
I currently have it on a 1648 Lowe. It does fine but I realize I need a mud hull to run it like I should when it gets skinny. Very few of these in Virginia so it is somewhat challenging to figure out exactly what I should be looking for. Size and make(customs included) of what you guys have found to perform well is what I'm asking for.

Try to find a square chine. I would say 17-54. Good luck.

If your buying brand new, look into a custom built. It would be worth the drive.

Do not...I repeat do not get anything other than a flat bottom boat with a 27 pd. it will be a pos with any sort of load. I'm giving you this advice through experience .

I'm running a 27 PD on a WC 1636 square chine skiff. It performs extremely well! Love it!!! Pete builds one hell of a boat! WC custom boats. Look him up.
