I put the stage one together over a 1 year period. First the muffler. That gave minimal results. Then the head work and Robert tricked out my stock Carb and intake. That got me to 24 MPH with around 700 pounds in the deep(2 to 3 MPH gain over stock but much better load carrying ability). This also increased my RPM's by 250 RPM Yesterday I put the EVT Intake a Mukunii carb on. This really woke the motor up. Ran it yesterday and got 28.5 with 700 pounds in the deep. The RPMs where up another 350(about a 600 RPM gain over stock).

The intake and carb made the biggest difference. I like the stock setup better only because it is protected. Not really happy about the carb being so exposed to the rain and elements. I am going to try to design a plastic rain cover for it.

I also dont have the prop right yet. Ran the stock tulip and it turned 4400 @ 28.5 MPH. Then ran a new 12 pitch cleaver with xtra cup from Hopkins and it turned 5500 @ 25 MPH?????? Sent the Cleaver back and I am going to try a 13 pitch. I would like to run the motor between 4000 to 4100.

Was curious if that is the lower sided hull or 2 piece hull with high sides. ww.

Its the lower sided one piece hull with the sides built up an extra 4 inches. I will try to get a pic of it this weekend.

Guys thats a typo, It should say 4500 not 5500. Couldnt figure out what all the fuss was about

Ran the boat with a 12 X13 hopkins. 3900 RPMs with a decent load ~1200lbs @ 26 MPH in the deep.
