who are you getting to paint it? I'm planning on getting a new boat soon and I've been trying to find someone to paint it.

fishaholic82 Either Son's Blasting & Painting (985)631-3838 in Amelia, La or another guy that Casey at Sportsman Fabrication uses. I'm not sure of his name. I will get it for you.

Re: Rolled out in my new Sportsman Fabrication Hull
Travis !!!!!! First off, congrats on the hull. ( the v will throw someone out in the mud) everything else GREAT. !!
No, the paint job. Why don't you just paint it yourself? It will cost less than 100 dollars. It will be the same paint job I had on my boat

Re: Rolled out in my new Sportsman Fabrication Hull
I have the same bow profile and don't have any trouble in the mud or anywhere else. Are you saying it will bite hard? Might have been the driver........

Re: Rolled out in my new Sportsman Fabrication Hull
Not saying tht shrieverbot can't drive. BUT.... He defently threw me out like I owed him something. Lol. I think anytime you have alot of weight in the front, it will bite in the mud. That night we had 4 people, and a ice chest of alcoholic beverges.
With regret of ever riding in SB's boat again, Nunc J

Re: Rolled out in my new Sportsman Fabrication Hull
fishaholic82 Since I posted the pictures I've had to demo it for/with Casey a few times for people who saw it and liked it. This was the first hull of this particular type he made. I should have the extended deck added, the hull painted and frog spit applied in the next 2 or 3 weeks. I will post them then.

Re: Rolled out in my new Sportsman Fabrication Hull
Mudhead I'm going out this weekend to my camp to try and find some mud. I'm brining my still and video cameras, so I will post some video and or pictures Sunday night.
UNCLE-J Yes, Casey has been receiving a good number of calls for the hull. I have been just using it as a demo for him. A guy from Baton Rouge wants to buy mine. I haven't been in a hurry to paint it, trying to help Casey as much as I can.

Re: Rolled out in my new Sportsman Fabrication Hull
18x48
Me at 245 lbs and 8 gal gas in deep water ran 29.9 top. Averaged out at 28.5 WOT. Didnt run shallow water to much yet.
Had 810 lbs between 4 guys, 12 gal of gas in deep water and ran between 24 and 25.5. In the pond froggin ( well thats what we were supposed to be doing but might have been drinking, dont rememer much that night) it ran about the same as deep water.
0.0 after missing a cut and ending up about 75 feet on dry marsh. That was both boats that night. Took about 3 hours to get both boats off. I need to install and bow winch mount.
