Voodoo, not sure. I thought they were cast, too. I'll go see if there is anything on TOS.

Just read the last post on their Update thread...if I read it correctly, both are cast.
I don't think I'm supposed to cut/paste their update here.

This is unbelievable! I'd tell them to send me about five lowers and prepaid shipping crates. I'll send the lowers back as they break, and I'll send back everything after duck season. If they said no, I'd tell them to send me a GTR or PD. I'm sure they've got a few in the shop that they tried to reverse engineer... Sent from my iPhone using

Bad thing about that is every time you refill with oil it's 100 bucks. Takes 2 gallons of full synthetic gear oil. Oh and the tranny burned up this last time. I was 8 miles up river and my 11 year old was with me. I ran back as far as I could once all the oil drained into the water the tranny locked up. So it's totally f'd now. Would have to be sent back anyway.

I understand you're happy with them sending you a black death, but did they not offer or did you not ask, to get all your money back?

No way I'd own anything MB other than my antique Longtail... Threads like this make me glad I painted over the mudbuddy sticker on the frame!!!
I must say, there's no way I'd be happy with anything they wanted to send me unless it was a 100%+ refund check... I'd be getting as far away from that company as possible. There's several other companies who offer a better product and knowing what you know, why not chalk it up to learning and get something different (not made in Utah)????
