 1660 GDSD AND 35GDSD
Running the 1660 and getting 28 max in open water. I'm 175 had a blind bag couple life jackets normal junk . This rig is about a month old. YEA, there's some rivits missing on the floor pan already from stumps. But if you don't abuse it leave it in the driveway! Is it goin to be faster in shallow water. IF I do a carb air filter and pipes how much would it add? and is the hp worth the money?

Have your trailer tires balanced - that's what is popin your floor rivets out....
Bet one or both are way outta balance....
Put radials on when those bias plys wear out - they shake the chit outta a boat goin down the road compared to radials....

 Re: 1660 GDSD AND 35GDSD
Well - first 500 mile trip I lost 4 rivets... Talked to "the man" and he told me it was the tires.... He was right, one was way outta balance 2 years later and 200 plus hours on the water - ain't lost any more....
Bet the ones he lost were all in the back too - just like mine....
It' an easy fix - balance the tires... If I'm wrong what will it hurt ??? They just slap them cheap bias ply trailer tires on without balancing them....

I have the same rig you do. It will be faster in shallow water for sure. I get to 27 in shallow water. Mine loses speed in deep water. I can get 22 or 23 in shallow water w a serious load I'm 6'6" 350. Had 2 dogs 2 more guys and dekes in a foot of water doing 22. I really like mine. Just wish it wouldn't slide across the mud flats uncontrollable
Leave it stock!

I have the MarshMellow exhaust on mine and very pleased with it. It helped on the bottom end power.
