1854 Sportsman's Fab, 3/16 bottom, 1/8 sides, 4' front deck, riveted .100 floor, heavy gunnels. Stock tall transom 35 GTR. Load: 1 person (240), two bags decoys, shotgun, 10 gal. fuel. Conditions: light chop, NE wind 8-10mph Deep water, Downstream 28.5-29, bumped 30.1 occassionally (GPS) Upstream 27.7-28.1 Shallow water N/A No complaints whatsoever about the boat/motor. Slower than an outboard, and a little more hassle to drive, however I haven't had to put on a pair of waders or even get out of the boat since getting the rig, which makes it worth every penny. |
