I bought a 1644hd with no flotation in it but the huntdeck - thinking about a black death 4500 - any ideas of the speeds and perfomance - how much better would this be than a standard 35 sport model . interested in low end perfomance and idling as well as speed - is the gearing the same as the 35 - thanks in advance |

It will hit the rev limiter close to 30. I'm running a 1644HD with a BD5500 on it and that's what mine does. I have to trim down to keep it off the rev limiter (even with three guys in it). |

first mud boat - what happens when you hit the rev limiter ? any damages ? is their anyway around this or its their for a purpose ? |

If it's a CDI, it'll sound like if the motor has a slight high speed miss. Very smooth. |

why do they put such a low rev limiter on them with all the performace parts, couldnt you turn those motor to like 5000 safely |
