Needs baffle -Ported and polished intake using DB8 directions............Thanks -MB 45mag Gov. Spring -prop has seen better days but not too bad............ Before- these are all good weather conditions (no wind, little chop) 27-28 deep water 28-29 shallow water- dam close to 30 though all at 4100rpm best speed, gov.spring set at 4350rpm maxed out After Mod's- 20plus mph winds heavy chop deep water (white caps)- head wind at that constant -27mph running at 4300rpm Gov.spring was set at 4400 Overall very happy, speeds were down I'm sure because of weather but throttle response is much improved, boat gets on step faster and motor does not lay down at all when you hammer it out of the hole....................So far so Good... Knock on Wood..... Special Thanks, to Mudd, DB8 and Mitch for the info and hook up! |
