Water Test Speeds:

Test number 1: Five People total 1000 lbs = Top Speed 26.6 mph, average speed 25.5 mph all deep water out of wind and current. We did hit 29.5, but this was current and wind aided.

Test number 2: Seven People Total 1500 lbs = Top Speed 25.1, Average speed 24.6 mph, all deep water out of current and wind.

Test number 3: Six people total 1300 lbs - Top Speed 25.8, Average speed 25.4, all deep water out of wind and current.

Test number 4: Eight people total 1650 lbs - Top speed 23.6, average speed 21.3 all deep water out of wind and current.

Boat will plane in two - three boat lenghts with full load, drafts only 5.5-6" of water are dead rest fully loaded (3.5-4.5 with light load). It will turn 180 in less then two boat lenghts at full speed. This rig was amazing and should make on heck of a great guide rig.

It is an expensive rig, but this is totally custom, it adds up with all the bells and whistles. We did not get a good picture of the top speeds, we took the two at 18 and 19mph on one of the runs, but ran out of realestate before we hit top speed (we were in a small pocket out of the wind and current). We tried to get pics of the best speeds, but they came out to blurry to read hitting our wake from the run the other way. The speeds we posted are correct, we had from four to eight folks in the boat who can attest to the speeds.

Hope to all enjoy looking at this rig, it is one of the most involved custom ones we have built and we are very pleased with the results. It is a bit overkill for the average guy and hunting partners, but for someone who guides 4-5 people everyday of the season on big waters it will be a great functional hunting rig.

That is a plush rig! I guess everyone stands up while underway because it is sort of claustrophobic sitting in that blind while the boat is tearing along? Does he pick up decoys from that rig, or does he carry another skiff for that?

It doesn't look like the operator can see the engines or hear the hydraulic pumps from the helm. How does the operator know when the motor is fully engaged in forward or reverse? How does he know that the motor is trimmed up enough to clear the transom when doing so? Have you devised some sort of trim indicator or does he just do it by feel?
