Geaux 1848 with 32PD, heads, cam, exhaust
Boat: 2010 Geaux Custom, extended deck, dual-taper chine. 24" sides and 21" transom. 1 and 1/2 seatboxes. 6 gallons gas and 1 battery.
Motor: 2004 Pro-Drive 32hp Longshaft with BPS cam, heads decked at .055, port and polish, and 3-angle valve job. Stock intake has been cleaned-up, and the stock exhaust has been gutted, with two outlets coming out the bottom. Motor was originally a short shaft, and converted this spring.
Before the cam and longshaft, I would run a consistent 26mph and change with me and the blind frame on the boat. My best "nudge" on the GPS was 28.9 in shallow water, with current. Top speed was at 4050 RPM.
Ran her Sunday with a group and got some great numbers. Running with the current, 30.3 to 31.8mph all day. Bumped 34.6 once, though I was never close to maintaining that speed. Top speed at 4250-4300 RPM. I've put a ton of work into this boat/motor, and was very happy with the results.
