 Weigh distrabution
I am new to the site and also new to mud motors I bought my boat from another member recently after years of wanting one and all you you guys passing me on the way to the duck blind in my old 1963 14' v hull with a 5 horse power motor. I have been running it over the last few weeks trying to get some tiller time and learn the boat. but just by myself and some fishing gear. Yesterday was the first day i had somebody else in the boat and it seemed like the closer he got to the bow when i was on step the poorer the boat preformed. By the way the boat is a 1848 brother breaux with a 36 pro dirve, i bought it from roadgoeson. Just wanted to get some imput before duck season so when i got some real weight in the boat i can get it right. thanks to all yall I learned more in a couple weeks on this site than i have in the last ten years of looking at these boats and talking to salesman and such.

 Re: Weigh distrabution
just keep running it and you will figure out your weight placement.
I find that if I put most of my weight in the center of the boat it does best.

 Re: Weigh distrabution
Yep, same here. Keep racking up the hrs on it & you'll get it figured out. BTW, congrats on your new rig, you picked up a helluva fine one for your 1st.
Sent from my Droid because I'm trying to be as cool as you someday.
