I have had my 21hp Dixie since Ben started building motors. I have beat the hell out of it and never once had a problem. Mine is on a 1648 Grizzly Tracker and it is a awsome combo. Were about to do some experimenting with mine, carb and duels, also swaping to the new aluminum frame and tilt. It would run 25mph with me deep cycle batt, and 5 gallons of gas. Hopeing to see high 20's or low 30's with the new set up. I would highly recommed a Dixie to anyone looking for a well built affordable motor. |

Fed Ex tracking says my 23hp with hydraulic trim will be at my house tomorrow. And it's going on my 1448 grizzly . If you haven't spoke with Ben at Dixie you should super nice guy very helpful. ( sounds like rojo might have a hard on for a copperhead lol) I looked at copper heads you tube videos and they are not that impressive and besides that looks like the biggest motor they offer is a 18hp and they cost more where Dixie offers the 23 and 35hp. I haven't ran mine yet but I'm not worried. Will post pics just as soon as I get it mounted on the boat . |

I trim mine almost all the way down and then strap the shaft to the bottom of the trailer with the motor turned |

I trim mine about half way up and strap across the motor to the handles on back of my boat. It keeps it from turning and bouncing. |

I also built a support bar for my Dixie 23 to reduce the bounce while trailering it. Works great! Really helps protect your transom for damage over time. |
