Boat is a 2054 Aucoin with 5/16 bottom plus 1/4 teflon bottom, 3 cross braces, big front deck, and tallsides/tran.
Bottom is way more than I wanted but I know that it will last a long time.

Motor is a PD36 stage 2 with 12/14 hopkins cleaver.

Ran the boat for right at 2 hours with 12 gallons gas, me (225), wife (140) kids (60) buddy (210) tools (15) and we ran about 20-25 at 3500 rpm. We cruised nicely through the grass at caddo at 3200rpm.

I did not have a GPS but i was probably about 5 mph slower than a buddys 2060 PD36 with about 250 lbs in it. Thats why im saying I ran 20-25.

Was happy with the rig, and i needed more prop, at tackoff i would blowout if i got on it to much in deep water.

When i get here back together i will post up GPS speeds but it will be atleast a week............FYI If someone offers to rivet your floor back down for you LET THEM.

Ran another motor on the rig and finaly had gps on it and got 27 at 3900rpm if my memory is right. With my motor i know i will hit 30 again. With my motor on an 1848 phowler it hit 34.4 all day but it was running 5K RPM.

5/16 bottom...WOW that is thick, should not have a problem with stumps with that. Sounds like a bullet proof rig.

Ya way overkill.....

When Ricky called me I was....well you could say i was having one of them big o times in Vagas. I dont think i understood what he was saying about my boat. I already have a 1/8 bottom that i caved in and he was fixing it for me. Well i thought he was going to cut the old bottom off and weld the new on, but that wasnt what he said. Oh well no reason the worry bout the little stuff.

Them are good speeds James..... Glad to hear your rig is running good!

We'll have to hook up for duck birds and then run the boats after this season....
