One piece hull. 17 ½’ x 48” 18“sides 21”transom Square chine. Two 2x2’s and two 1x2’s for stringers with one 2x2 cross brace. 2 5/8” catwalks (1 ¼” square tube on the inside and the outside). Riveted .080 aluminum floor in progress (will be covered with Hydroturf). Two 1” drain plugs. Front hatch with 18” extended deck. Battery and gas tank in front. Wires and fuel line run under the floor in pvc. Two spud pole holders on the transom. Pirogue rack/grab bar sockets. Installing the lights and switch panel tomorrow. Will be painting it with Duralux Aluminum Boat Green when it warms up. 23hp GDSD for now…(until the EFI Prodrive comes out next year). Ran it for about 45 minutes this evening, still trying to dial it in, but it ran a steady 21.2 in deep water with just me in it. It jumps on plane in about 20ft. It’s not just beautiful, it runs great, too! Garrett is great to deal with and he knows his boats. He sent plenty of updates along the way with pics of the progress. If you are in the market for a custom boat, send him a text to set up a meeting. |

I've had this skiff for about a year now. And after a hunting it hard this season it has met all of my expectations, and more. Finally put a 36 hp ProDrive on it last week. Me (160#) and my dad (180#) with fishing gear(less than 100#) held 27 mph through the marsh (12" to 18" of water). I haven't been able to run it wide open by my self yet because the trout are biting and my dad comes with me every evening. It's still the best looking skiff that I've ever seen! Noose |
